A little queen sank beneath the bubbles. Ariel made sure to get up extra early today, despite not being much of a morning person. The small window above the bathtub displayed the pretty scene outside, dawn sky a pale pink. Idly, she scooped up a handful of foam and tossed it upwards. Miniature, multicolored bubbles rain down softly and tickled her nose.
A long while later, Ariel decided that it was about time to get up. The world outside was being illuminated, a kingdom being lit up by the rising sun and blue sky. A hand groped to her side for the soft, fluffy towel. Briskly, the redhead wrapped it around her slight figure and proceeded to examine the outfit that the servant girls laid out for her.
It was exquisite. Of course! She was meeting Anna, Princess of Arendelle, after all. Turquoise silk, shimmering faintly, with chiffon puff sleeves and a small chiffon overskirt the exact color of her eyes. A small string of freshwater pearls adorned the Queen’s delicate wrist.
Small adjustments were made. Tuck the hair in here, straighten the skirt there… And she was ready. Donning her distinctive, contagious smile, Ariel was escorted to the docks to receive the Princess. Large eyes blinked at the opening of the immense ship, waiting for Anna to emerge.
